About the Authors

Karen Goon Thomas is a graduate of Seattle University and works as a marketing director in the travel industry. She and her family reside in Washington State where she enjoys travel, dance, art, and music. Karen developed the idea for The Baby Detectives series and is the creative advisor for each of the stories that are based, in part, on actual events within the Goon family.

Jacqueline Johnson Goon is a proud descendant of Florence, Mississippi, a small town in Rankin County, Mississippi, located south of Jackson, the capital city, where her family still resides. In 1985, she and her husband relocated to Washington State where they are afforded spectacular views of Lake Washington, Mount Rainier, and the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges. Their two daughters are married and have blessed the family with two wonderful sons and four beautiful grandchildren of which she is extremely proud. In addition to writing, she enjoys music, gardening, and, of course, any time spent with her family, church, and friends.
